Location: Pampa Regional Medical Center, Pampa TX

We are seeking a Medical Surgical Telemetry RN , internally referred to as our Med/Tele RN at working in both the Med-Surg and Telemetry departments . A dedicated nurse specializing in attending to patients within Med/Surg units, especially those needing cardiac monitoring. Our RN is instrumental in overseeing the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of individuals needing cardiac surveillance during their hospitalization.

Located in the center of the Texas Panhandle, Pampa Regional Medical Center is a 25-bed critical-access hospital serving our communities with a full range of surgical and medical services. Responsibilities

** If you are a licensed Registered Nurse (RN), we're prepared to provide training to suitable candidates for this role. Newly graduated RNs are encouraged to apply. No experience needed, entry-level **

  • A ssess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans

  • M onitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of patients' heart rates and rhythms

  • C ommunicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology

  • A dminister medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions

  • P rovide hands-on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional support

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
