Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Power BI Developer to join their team. The role involves designing and implementing interactive Power BI reports and dashboards while collaborating with business users to understand their reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize and analyze complex data sets.
• Create data models and perform data transformations to ensure data accuracy and consistency in Power BI.
• Create models by joining tables from multiple source systems with large volumes of data, including systems such as SAP, BW, HANA, SQL, PI, Enablon, Track, and Cloud systems.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing Power BI reports to enhance performance and user experience.
• Integrate Power BI solutions with other data sources and systems as needed.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and new features in Power BI, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, data engineers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of Power BI solutions.
• Create strong and insightful documentation regarding Power BI solutions developed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Data and Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
• Experience in designing and developing data models for business intelligence.
• Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles.
