Powder Coater (Bilingual)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Stafford, TX

Pay rate: $16-18/Hr.

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Powder Coater to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with powder coating applications, surface preparation, metal finishing, and industrial manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare metal parts and surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, degreasing, and pre-treatment processes
  • Apply powder coating evenly using electrostatic spray equipment and powder coating systems
  • Operate and monitor curing ovens to ensure proper temperature control and coating adhesion
  • Inspect coated parts for coverage consistency, finish quality, thickness, and product defects
  • Maintain proper powder inventory and assist with color changes during production runs
  • Hang, rack, and remove parts safely throughout the coating and curing process
  • Perform touch-ups and rework when required to meet product quality standards
  • Clean and maintain powder coating equipment, spray guns, booths, and production work areas
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality control standards during daily production
  • Work closely with fabrication, welding, and production teams to meet production schedules and customer deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Powder Coater, Industrial Painter, Metal Finisher, or Manufacturing Production Operator preferred
  • Experience operating powder coating spray equipment, curing ovens, and finishing systems
  • Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating application processes
  • Ability to inspect finished products and identify coating defects or inconsistencies
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products
  • Ability to lift materials and work in a physically demanding production environment
  • Comfortable working in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial shop settings
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
