Job description

Observe, assess and conduct FBA of individuals' behavior to develop meaningful and effective positive behavior support plans to address behavioral issues. Effectively communicate with individuals, employees, lifesharing providers and families to implement positive behavior support plans. Train and mentor employees and lifesharing providers on implementation of plans. Monitor recorded data to determine improvement and efficacy of plans in order to modify and continually address needs.
Education & Work Experience:
  • Master's Degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or Gerontology.
  • A Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License. Application for 1915(c) HCBS Waiver: PA.0147.R06.15 - Jun 01, 2022 (as of Jun 01, 2022) Page 112 of 461 06/03/2022
  • A Bachelor's Degree & work under the supervision of a professional who has a Master's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or Gerontology, or who is a licensed psychiatrist, psychologist, professional counselor, social worker (master's level or higher) or who has a Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License.
