Job description

We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our Plywood Production team. If you're eager to learn, adaptable, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this opportunity would be a great fit for you. Our entry-level positions include various job duties that enable new hires to understand our product offerings and learn proper handling techniques associated with those products.

Schedule:

Our plywood facility runs four shifts.

Days |Tuesday-Saturday, 7AM-3PM | Sunday and Monday off

Swing | Monday-Friday, 3-11PM | Saturday & Sunday off

Graveyard |Friday-Tuesday, 11PM-7AM | Wednesday & Thursday off

Relief |Monday - Day Shift, Wednesday & Thursday - Graveyard Shift, Saturday & Sunday - Swing Shift | Tuesday & Friday off

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accurately identify, grade, remove, & neatly stack veneer based on size and quality as it travels down a conveyor.
  • Maintain a steady supply of materials, feeding dryers with veneer to maximum capacity, preventing and removing any plug-ups that may occur.
  • Perform general cleanup duties around the production area, ensuring the workspace is clean and maintained for safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with your team to meet daily production goals and ensure smooth operations.
  • Must be able to work any shift (day, swing, graveyard, or relief) as needed in the department.
  • Demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
