Job Description:
A reputable Orthopedic practice is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative medical team. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive, professional environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient satisfaction and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up assessments.
  • Obtain and document detailed patient histories and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  • Manage patients with musculoskeletal, spine, orthopedic, and chronic pain conditions.
  • Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and medical records.
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, medications, and post-procedure care.
  • Assist with pre-procedure and post-procedure evaluations.
  • Coordinate care with referring physicians, specialists, therapists, and ancillary healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support practice growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Texas.
  • Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
  • Experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, Spine, Neurosurgery, PM&R, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or related specialty strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
