Position Summary:

The Home Building Team Members perform the manufacturing production operations assigned to each department in the home building process. The position follows standard production methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. We build homes from the frame up!

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Work in a safe manner, practicing good situational awareness and using all required safety equipment and PPE.

  • Communicate any safety hazards or issues to your supervisor immediately.

  • Participate inany and allsafety training provided.

  • Work as a team to maintain and exceed production goals.

  • Be respectful and maintain good working relationships with all team members.

  • Maintain a positive, "How can I help?" attitude.

  • Be punctual and reliable.

  • Follow all quality guidelines and building codes, without exception, to produce ahigh qualityproduct.

  • Serve as a good stewardofour company's physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.

  • Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.

  • Be adaptable and flexible at all times, performing any duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check - REQUIRED

  • Clear and effective communication-REQUIRED

  • Speak, read,and understand English - REQUIRED

  • Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary - REQUIRED

  • Strongproblem-solvingskills - REQUIRED

  • Ability to work independently and as a team - REQUIRED

  • Valid Driver's License -REQUIRED

  • High School diploma or GED-REQUIRED

  • Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings and prints - preferred

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification - a big plus

  • Vocational certifications - a big plus

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively.

  • Ability to be on his/her feet (standing and walking) for up to 4 hours at a time.

  • Ability to perform a job that includes repetitive stooping and bending.

  • Ability to perform a job that includes repetitive crouching and crawling, pushing and pulling.

  • Ability to perform a job that includes lifting and holding tools and building materials overhead.

  • Performing squeezing the trigger of a staple/nail gun that weigh in a range of 1 - 5 lbs. for up to 8 hours.

  • Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting all the general physical demands of the job.

Travel Requirements:

  • None - Homesare built in our manufacturing facility.

Tool/Equipment Requirements:

  • None - We provide all necessary tools andbasicPPE

  • We do not provide welding helmets or steel toe/safety shoes

Our pay range is skill based, meaning the more skills our team members become proficient in, the more money they make.
