This is an entry level position that would support our Dawson, GA cotton breeding program. Most activities are done with a team of technicians under the supervision of Client full-time employees. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Field and Processing Planting/Harvest preparation. Data collection throughout growing cycle. Hand harvest of cotton. Ginning seed cotton. Seed processing/ inventory. Field Maintenance, pulling/hoeing weeds. Must be able to: Work in hot or cold environments and Lift 50lbs. Stand for extended amounts of time. Adhere to established safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards in the work area. Follow all safety regulations.
