General Inspector-Packer Responsibilities:

  1. Arrive at the machine prior to shift start.
  2. Inspect cartons and pack them into a box or bag.
  3. Notify the operator/Supervisor of non-conforming products.
  4. One of the general inspectors should move to the outfeed of the machine when the machine goes down to prepare for start-up.
  5. Reclaim should be worked on by one of the general inspectors each and every time machine goes down (even just a couple of bagsmake a difference).
  6. Help with daily cleaning (sweeping, mopping, and organizing).
  7. Pick up bags from the floor and put them in the proper place.
  8. Check forexcess glue.
  9. Inspect and package material

Required Skills

Must be able to stand for 2-4 hours at a time.
