About the Role

GSC is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations, customer service, and eCommerce/marketing activities. This is an entry-level to early-career position that is well suited for someone who enjoys working with data, learning new systems, and helping keep daily business operations organized and accurate.

In this role, you will assist with general office tasks, order entry, product listing maintenance, spreadsheet updates, and support for our marketing and eCommerce efforts. You may help manage product listings across platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and other online marketplaces, edit product images for consistency, and assist with tracking digital marketing activity in coordination with our marketing team and outside advertising partners.

Excel spreadsheets are used frequently to organize and manage product, pricing, inventory, and sales data. Strong Excel skills are highly valued. Experience with QuickBooks, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or other eCommerce platforms is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with order entry, customer service, and general office support.
  • Maintain and update product listings across eCommerce platforms.
  • Use Excel spreadsheets to organize and update product, pricing, inventory, and marketing data.
  • Assist with editing product images and improving product listing consistency.
  • Help coordinate information with our marketing team and outside advertising agency.
  • Support tracking of digital advertising, product performance, and online sales activity.
  • Learn and use company systems, including QuickBooks, Shopify, Amazon, ChatGPT and other business software.
  • Help with other administrative tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting pay: $17.00–$18.00/hour, depending on experience.
  • 90-day introductory period with eligibility for a pay review based on performance.
  • Benefits available after 90 days:
    • Health insurance, with 60% of premium paid by the company.
    • Dental and vision insurance available.
    • Paid time off: 67 hours are accrued in the first year.
    • 7 paid holidays.
