Job description

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Semiconductor Wafer Processing Operator to join our production team. In this role, you’ll help manufacture semiconductor wafers by operating specialized equipment and following detailed production processes. You’ll work in a cleanroom environment alongside engineering and quality teams to help ensure products meet high standards for quality, safety, and performance.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, pays close attention to detail, and is interested in learning and growing in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor semiconductor processing equipment used for photolithography, etching, deposition, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Follow established procedures and process instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality production.
  • Perform inspections and measurements during production to verify wafers meet required specifications.
  • Record process data, equipment settings, and production information accurately in the manufacturing execution system (MES).
  • Perform routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and calibration to keep systems running efficiently.
  • Help identify equipment or process issues and work with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Follow all cleanroom, safety, and environmental procedures, including proper handling of materials.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve quality, efficiency, and yield.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to support smooth production operations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, semiconductor technology, or a related field is a plus.

Experience

  • Previous experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar technical production environment is preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes such as photolithography, etching, deposition, and cleaning is helpful.
  • Basic understanding of inspection and measurement tools is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn troubleshooting techniques.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required cleanroom attire.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Shift

  • N1: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday
  • N2: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday
