Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 / year

Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club (MKSC) is a thriving community-based soccer club dedicated to fostering a passion for soccer, promoting sportsmanship, and developing the skills of youth players of all ages and skill levels. With a rich history and commitment to excellence, MKSC is seeking a highly motivated and creative Communications and Administrative Coordinator.


Job Description:

As the Communications and Administrative Coordinator at Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the club’s marketing and communication efforts while ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations. This role is dual, meaning that the Communications and Administrative Coordinator will be managing tasks and projects across two departments (Marketing and Club Operations).


This role requires a creative and organized individual who can support both marketing and administrative functions to promote the club’s mission, engage with members, and assist in the day-to-day management of club activities. You will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Corporate Engagement and Director of Club Operations & Administration.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, including regular posting and engagement on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Lead creation of and manage monthly newsletters and email campaigns, ensuring timely updates and relevant content for club members.
  • Maintain and update the club’s websites.
  • Assist Director of Club Operations & Administration with daily tasks, including: managing correspondence, preparing reports, and organizing documents.
  • Provide support on special projects, assignments, and other tasks needed to facilitate club operations.
  • Support the planning and execution of club and park events, programs, and initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Marketing, Business, Communications, Media Studies, Sports Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Social Media Proficiency: Working knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and their functionality. Including: content creation and content scheduling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be available to work designated weekends throughout the year to support special events and tournaments, approximately 10 events per year.
  • Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, website management, and photo editing software is a plus.
