Position Summary:

This is an exciting, entry-level opportunity to join our Epic Application Support and Training team in the Inland Empire, CA area. As a Systems Mgmt Specialist, you will play a key role in healthcare operations by helping our clinical and administrative staff successfully adopt and utilize our technology platforms. In this role, you will perform procedural tasks under guidance, coordinate training logistics, manage Learning Management System (LMS) administration, and provide entry-level Epic system support. If you are passionate about customer service, eager to learn complex technology systems like Epic, and want to support our care teams in delivering great patient outcomes, this is the perfect starting point for your career in healthcare IT.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Epic Application Support: Provide entry-level (first- and second-line) support for Epic users across clinical and operational roles. Troubleshoot routine Epic application issues, user errors, and workflow challenges. Document support issues, resolutions, and trends, and escalate complex issues to senior Epic analysts. Assist with basic system testing and validation for Epic updates and enhancements

  • Training Coordination & Support: Assist with New Employee and Clinician Training, including scheduling onboarding sessions, tracking completion, and organizing class materials. Support the training team with administrative and logistical needs while serving as a helpful point of contact for routine training inquiries

  • Operations & Clinical Partnership: Partner with Operations leadership to understand clinic workflows and training needs. Guide clinic leadership on required classes and learning paths by role, and collaborate during new clinic onboarding to support training readiness. Ensure training requirements align with clinical workflows

  • LMS Administration: Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) by assigning required courses and video sessions based on role, department, and clinic type. Maintain learning paths (including clinician onboarding tracks) and track training completion and compliance for reporting

  • Class & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate in-person training logistics, including scheduling training rooms, managing rosters, preparing materials, and supporting class instructors. Communicate schedules and updates to learners and leadership

  • System Access Support: Submit, track, and follow up on Epic access tickets and Epic Shop requests related to onboarding. Coordinate with IT, Epic, and application teams to ensure system access aligns with training completion timelines

  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 2 yrs of experience in technology support, customer service, administrative coordination, clinical administration, or a related role (relevant technical internships or academic coursework may be considered)

  • 1 yrs of experience troubleshooting basic software, application, or system issues

  • 1 yrs of experience entering, tracking, or managing data within an enterprise system, database, or ticketing platform (e.g., LMS, CRM, or help desk tool)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to or familiarity with Epic systems or other Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) platforms

  • Experience working within a healthcare clinic, medical office, or hospital operations environment (e.g., as a medical assistant, clinic coordinator, or scheduler)

  • Passion for learning complex software applications and a strong customer-service mindset when helping clinical users

  • Basic understanding of online learning portals or training coordination

  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
