What is a remote pharmacy tech?

A remote pharmacy tech, or remote pharmacy technician, is a healthcare professional who assists pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications while working from a location outside of a traditional pharmacy, often from home. Their responsibilities may include processing prescriptions, managing medication records, handling insurance claims, and providing customer service, all using secure online systems.
