Job description

Location: Port St. Lucie, FL and surrounding Treasure Coast areas
Job Type: Approximately 20 hours per week to start
*Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be comfortable driving throughout the Treasure Coast and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Real Estate Photographer, you’ll travel to residential properties to capture listing media for real estate agents and homeowners. You’ll be trained on our photo, video, drone, and real estate media processes, so previous experience is not required.

This is an active, people-focused, field-based role. You’ll spend your days visiting homes, preparing spaces for media, using cameras and drones, communicating with clients, and helping real estate agents market their listings professionally.

Every day looks a little different here, and that’s one of the best parts of the job.

What A Typical Day Looks Like

  • Travel to scheduled residential real estate appointments
  • Capture interior and exterior listing media using our structured process
  • Interact professionally with real estate agents, homeowners, and other professionals
  • Help prepare homes for photography and video by moving small distracting items when needed
  • Follow detailed shot lists, systems, and checklists
  • Use cameras, drones, video tools, and real estate media technology
  • Work outdoors regularly in Florida conditions, including heat, humidity, bugs, and other outdoor elements
  • Communicate clearly with the team and clients
  • Upload media after appointments using company computer (need reliable internet connection)
  • Represent the company with professionalism, confidence, and a positive attitude

Schedule & Availability

  • 20 hours per week, increasing to 30-40 hours per week once fully trained
  • Must be available 5 days per week
  • Occasional weekend jobs may be required (weekend work is compensated at a higher rate)
  • Must be flexible with daily scheduling, appointment times, and property locations
  • Starting part-time, with the goal of growing into a full-time role averaging once fully trained and certified
  • Hours are not guaranteed every week, as real estate demand can fluctuate

This role involves a significant amount of driving. Our service area includes locations within about an hour of Port St. Lucie, including Vero Beach, West Palm Beach, Okeechobee, and surrounding areas. Some days may include multiple properties across different cities.

Compensation

This role is paid per unit, with increases as you become certified in additional services.

  • Paid Training: $20/unit
  • 1 unit = 60 mins of on-site shoot time
  • Photo Certified: $25/unit
  • Drone Certified: $30/unit
  • Video Certified: $35/unit
  • Mileage reimbursement between shoots at 2026 IRS standard business mileage rate of $0.725 per mile (72.5¢/mile)

The right person is

  • Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable meeting new people
  • A natural communicator who makes clients feel taken care of
  • Confident on-site without being arrogant
  • Warm, professional, and easy to be around
  • A rockstar team player who genuinely wants the whole team to win
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-aware
  • Someone who takes pride in exceeding expectations
  • Able to stay calm and solutions-focused when things are busy or imperfect
  • Willing to learn, take feedback, and grow with the company
  • Excited to be part of a fast-growing brand with high standards

Many successful team members come from customer service, hospitality, retail, events, restaurant, sales, or other people-facing roles. Photography experience is not required.

Why People Enjoy This Role

  • Paid training provided
  • Company gear supplied
  • Opportunity to learn photography, video, drone, and real estate media skills
  • Field-based work where every day is different
  • Creative, active, and people-focused role
  • Opportunity to visit unique homes throughout the Treasure Coast
  • Mileage reimbursement between shoots
  • Room to grow into a larger full-time role
  • Supportive training and systems
  • Regular interaction with real estate professionals and homeowners

This Role May NOT Be a Fit If You:

  • Prefer a highly structured 9-to-5 schedule
  • Struggle with changing priorities or the occasional curveball
  • Dislike driving
  • Don't enjoy working directly with clients, homeowners, and real estate professionals
  • Have significant pet allergies or are uncomfortable around animals

At the end of the day, we’re looking for someone who is personable, dependable, coachable, and excited about learning a creative skill set while representing the company well in the field.

If you enjoy being on the move, meeting new people, working independently, and taking pride in producing great work, we’d love to hear from you.
