Job description

Private Markets Performance Analyst
The Performance Analyst – PM Concentration role is an entry-level role, with about 0-2 years of previous experience post-bachelor’s degree. They collect and synthesize Private Market data to calculate client investment performance, risk statistics, and portfolio exposure over time. The PA plays a supporting role to Consultants and Investment Analysts in servicing the firm’s Private Market clients.
Over the course of their work, PAs learn a great deal about the investment consulting process, from Private Market diversification to understanding and synthesizing significant occurrences of various General Partners. We encourage employees to continue to grow their economic and investment knowledge by enrolling in the CIPM, CFA, or CAIA programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently gather, prioritize, and verify financial data related to client accounts and private market investments
  • Monitor market trends and quarterly performance results for all Private Market asset classes
  • Maintain and validate regularly updated databases of investment information
  • Calculate and verify client-related investment data and statistics
  • Produce client-ready data for quarterly reviews, including reviewing data for accuracy and reasonableness
  • Investigate and resolve performance discrepancies; reconcile and validate results, ensuring that asset transfers and values are appropriately reflected
  • Collaborate on the development of internal indices and analytical tools
  • Work with Investment Analysts and Consultants with special projects as needed
  • Fulfill any and all other duties deemed vital by management
Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Math, or Finance preferred
  • Familiarity with accounting, financial and/or statistical concepts
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet programs and word processing software
