NOTE - We have three open positions for Production Technicians - Packing on third shift from 11:30pm -7:00am, Monday - Friday.
Employees who work this shift receive 10% shift differential on top of base wages!

About the role:
The K-Flex Production Technician is a role that performs entry level tasks involved in the manufacturing of rubber insulation and engineered foam products. This individual follows standard work methods in a safe and efficient manner to deliver quality product on time. The Production Technician is responsible for operations such as packing pipes, sheets, or rolls according to customer specifications.
Day-to-day Job Duties
• Reads and understands the daily production plan.
• Track production on communication board
• Operate various machinery such as box former, printer, etc. safely.
• Pack finished goods into appropriate packaging/boxes and place correct label on packaging.
• Stack, pile, place finished goods on pallet, and prepare goods for shipment.
• Check to ensure boxes are put together well and damage free.
• Verify quality of product being placed in boxes.
• Remove defective products or materials, placing them in pre-determined scrap pile.
• Seal and label boxes.
• Communicate with logistics operators so that boxes can be picked up and taken to the warehouse in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot simple issues in the workflow and correct
• Ensure internal and external specifications are met.
• Report any issues or concerns to management
• Maintain clean and orderly work area
• Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience including one year of operating machinery, preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety and SOP information.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Possess the ability to work effectively with others

• Good attendance required - per policy outline in Employee Handbook.
Physical Demands:
• Regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, walk, bend.
• Use fingers, hands, arms, and legs to lift, reach, push and pull, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, hot objects, hot & cold environmental temperatures, and moderate noise.
