Position Summary

AR Building Services is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Operations Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an individual looking to build a career in operations management within the commercial cleaning and facility maintenance industry. The Operations Manager will support daily operations, help oversee cleaning teams, ensure exceptional service delivery, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding AR Building Services' commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial cleaning accounts.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections to ensure facilities meet company and client standards.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching of janitorial staff.
  • Coordinate employee schedules, staffing assignments, and shift coverage.
  • Respond promptly to client requests, concerns, and service issues while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering and distribution of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure all employees follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and proper cleaning procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, including inspection reports, staffing documentation, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with senior management to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Assist with special projects, emergency cleanings, and new account start-ups as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. Candidates with relevant supervisory or operations experience, instead of a degree, are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous supervisory, customer service, hospitality, retail, or operations experience is a plus but not required.
