Transcriptionists can pursue a certificate program that educates on the responsibilities of a legal or medical transcriptionist and familiarizes you with appropriate terminology. A virtual assistant should have excellent communication skills, client-oriented thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. The qualifications to become a data entry clerk include strong typing skills, proficiency with computer software, and the ability to learn relevant programs for the job.
