OVERVIEW – SALES REPRESENTATIVE (OIL & GAS / INDUSTRIAL SAFETY)

Location: Local and Remote / Field-Based (U.S. – Oil & Gas Regions Preferred)

Compensation: Salary and Commission-Based (High Earning Potential)

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced, driven, self-starting sales professional to help bring our gas detection equipment to market. This is a high-impact role with significant earning potential for someone who understands the oil & gas industry and already has relationships in the field and ready to expand into other markets.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a “hunter” — someone who knows how to find opportunities, open doors, and close deals.


RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in oil & gas and industrial sectors

- Sell gas detection equipment to:

- Mud logging companies

- Drilling contractors

- Oil & gas operators

- HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) managers

- Leverage existing industry relationships to generate sales

- Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical benefits

- Build and manage a sales pipeline

- Close deals and drive revenue growth


IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Experience selling into oil & gas, industrial safety, or drilling operations

- Existing contacts in mud logging, drilling, or HSE roles

- Proven track record of closing B2B sales

- Comfortable selling technical equipment

- Self-motivated and able to work independently

- Strong communication and negotiation skills


REQUIRED

- Drug testing

- Complete background check

- Reliable transportation

- People person

- Sales experience with gas detection equipment or safety systems

- Experience working with companies such as drilling contractors, service companies, or equipment providers

- Familiarity with field operations and rig environments


COMPENSATION

- $65,000 to $104,000 annual
