Our device is built to detect hazardous gases such as methane, CO2, and H2S, helping protect personnel and operations on drilling sites, rigs, and industrial locations.

We are focused on practical, hardened, reliable technology that works where it matters most — in the field. POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for an experienced, driven, self-starting sales professional to help bring our gas detection equipment to market. This is a high-impact role with significant earning potential for someone who understands the oil & gas industry and already has relationships in the field and is ready to expand into other markets.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a “hunter” — someone who knows how to find opportunities, open doors, and close deals. RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify and develop new business opportunities in oil & gas and industrial sectors - Sell gas detection equipment to: - Mud logging companies - Drilling contractors - Oil & gas operators - HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) managers - Leverage existing industry relationships to generate sales - Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical benefits - Build and manage a sales pipeline - Close deals and drive revenue growth IDEAL CANDIDATE - Experience selling in oil & gas, industrial safety, or drilling operations - Existing contacts in mud logging, drilling, or HSE roles - Proven track record of closing B2B sales - Comfortable selling technical equipment - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Strong communication and negotiation skills PREFERRED BACKGROUND - Sales experience with gas detection equipment or safety systems - Experience working with companies such as drilling contractors, service companies, or equipment providers - Familiarity with field operations and rig environments COMPENSATION - High commission structure (uncapped) - Full time salary - Opportunity for recurring revenue - Flexible structure (independent rep or full-time for the right candidate) WHY JOIN IBALL INSTRUMENTS - Sell a product designed specifically for real-world oilfield conditions - Massive market need for reliable gas detection - Opportunity to get in early with a growing product - Direct impact on company growth and direction GENERAL PARTS OF YOUR DAY - Prospecting For Mud Logging Rentals (see below) - Prospecting For Secondary Markets (see below) - Prospecting For Government Sales - Advertising OILFIELD/MUD LOGGING RENTALS - Mud logging companies - Petroleum Geologists - Operations Geologists - Mud Loggers - Drilling Supervisors - Completions Engineers - Secondary Rental/replacement of the Pason Gas detector SECONDARY MARKET EXAMPLES - Biogas fuel quality - Wastewater treatment plant - Industrial digester - Agriculture processing facility with biogas - Anything that has a need for rugged continuous gas monitoring HOW TO APPLY - Call or send a brief introduction along with your experience and any relevant industry contacts or background.
