Duties Description The Nursing Assistant 1 is an entry-level position that under direct clinical supervision provides direct patient care and assists with activities of daily living (ADLs). Primary duties include monitoring vital signs, performing medical support tasks, observing patients' physical/mental/emotional conditions, reporting changes to supervising nursing staff, and documenting health records. The role also involves providing comfort and reassurance to patients and families to foster a supportive care environment.

Minimum Qualifications Possession of or ability to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities during the probationary period. You will receive classroom and clinical instruction to help you pass the Prometric New York State Exam. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) SG-8.
