Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth, examining the patient's mouth for signs of oral disease, and removing calculus, stains, and plaque.
Educate patients comprehensively on oral hygiene techniques, plaque control, and the critical role of nutrition in oral health.
Apply fluoride and other cavity-preventing agents to teeth.
Take and develop diagnostic X-rays.
Conduct patient assessments, evaluate oral health conditions, and collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans.
Assist the dentist in providing various dental treatments as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and charting, documenting all provided care and patient interactions.
Manage patient care efficiently and effectively, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
Operate medical imaging equipment for image acquisition and patient care.
Adhere strictly to infection control standards, aseptic technique, and all office policies.

Salary Range

Part-time $50 - $55 per hour
