Montgomery Family Dentistry is an established general dentistry office located in the heart of downtown Montgomery, OH. Dental hygienist

Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth, examining the patient's mouth for signs of oral disease, and removing calculus, stains, and plaque.
Educate patients comprehensively on oral hygiene techniques, plaque control, and the critical role of nutrition in oral health.
Apply fluoride and other cavity-preventing agents to teeth.
Take and develop diagnostic X-rays.
Conduct patient assessments, evaluate oral health conditions, and collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans.
Assist the dentist in providing various dental treatments as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and charting, documenting all provided care and patient interactions.
Manage patient care efficiently and effectively, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
Operate medical imaging equipment for image acquisition and patient care.
Adhere strictly to infection control standards, aseptic technique, and all office policies.

Part-time $50 - $55 per hour

Thursday: 9 AM – 5 PM
Friday: 9 AM – 1 PM

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Ohio.
Current CPR/AED Certification.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for patient education and team collaboration.
A passion for providing excellent patient care and a thorough understanding of dental hygiene procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Commitment to providing the highest quality of care and preventive dental services.
Proficiency in basic patient assessment and treatment.

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist (entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply if they demonstrate strong foundational skills and enthusiasm).
Experience with dental assisting tasks to support efficient chairside collaboration.
Familiarity with specific dental software used in our practice.
Demonstrated ability to provide nutrition education relevant to oral health.
