Entry Level Network Testing Engineer (Woodcliff Lake, NJ)

Summary
  • The Integration engineer (Resident Engineer) is responsible validation and development related activities for basic feature market specific features
  • Should act as a local representative of the supplier HQ to support the Customer's development & validation teams
Responsibilities
  • Communicate to local Customer's engineering teams about product status on behalf of supplier HQ
  • Resolve any product related issues locally at Customer's engineering site (such as hardware problems, restore damaged samples, flash issues etc.)
  • Perform test cases and road trips for basic features and market specific features with test racks and test vehicles
  • Support of component manager with supply and update of system component
  • Interface between Customer's engineering team and Internal engineering team concerning questions regarding engineering matters and vehicle configuration
  • Create issue ticket and verify it before deliver SW/HW to Customer
  • Deliver test report to Customer and Internal engineering team daily and weekly basis
  • Participate joint testing with Customer engineer teams
  • Investigate problems and analyze root cause with Customer and internal engineering teams
  • Understand process for LG and Customer development process
  • Maintain test vehicle
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor in Engineering or Computer Science degree
Preferred Requirements
  • Automotive Multimedia and Telematics experience are preferred
  • 1 year of mobile testing experience
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time. (out of state and office)
  • Should support late call to discuss urgent issue to team in Korea, possible to work at holiday if urgently required
