Summary: The Maintenance Technician position supports the Regional Distribution Center's daily operation by performing a variety of assigned task to ensure the safety of all persons and functionality of all facilities and equipment. This position will perform minor maintenance/repair of facilities and equipment, perform general housekeeping duties within the warehouse, serve as a backup team member to the wire department and perform all other duties as assigned or required to support operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular inspections of assigned equipment and adhere to safety protocols and procedures to provide a safe and clean working environment.
  • Conduct minor repairs and adjustments on various equipment and systems to ensure their proper functionality.
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including painting, carpentry, and basic plumbing tasks as required.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events, meetings, or other company functions.
  • Serve as a resource to warehouse supervisors on facility related maintenance work.
  • Coordinate resources as needed to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with and communicate to other departments to address maintenance-related matters.
  • Performs all other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution
  • 1-2 years of facility maintenance experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • OSHA General Industry 10 Hour Course certificate
  • Must be proficient in the use of power and hand tools
  • Ability to use computer including email and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two-year degree or certificate program from an accredited educational institution in applicable trades program (Industrial Maintenance, Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter etc.)
  • 5 years of experience working within an applicable trade field or maintenance position
  • OSHA General Industry 30 Hour Course certificate
  • Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
