Job Description
This role involves assembling circuit boards and sub-assemblies using hand tools and production machinery on a 2nd shift schedule. You will follow computer-based, step-by-step instructions, perform quality checks on your work, and support general production activities in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble circuit boards and sub-assemblies using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches.
- Operate production machinery to apply solder paste and process smaller components according to defined procedures.
- Follow detailed, computer-based, step-by-step instructions for each assembly and ensure all steps are completed accurately.
- Log into and navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously to access the correct assembly instructions and documentation.
- Perform quality checks on completed work before moving assemblies to the next stage of production.
- Support general production activities, including basic soldering, picking, and packaging as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with facility standards.
- Communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and team members to clarify instructions and resolve issues during production.
- Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while working with tools, machinery, and materials.
Essential Skills
- Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches safely and accurately.
- Comfort using basic computer programs on a daily basis, including logging into multiple applications at once.
- Capability to follow detailed, step-by-step instructions from a computer interface.
- Basic assembly skills for working with circuit boards and sub-assemblies.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on completed work.
- Willingness to work on 2nd shift and adapt to production schedules.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and ability to work consistently in a production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of assembly experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of soldering experience, which can lead to higher starting pay.
- Any amount of picking and packaging experience is helpful.
- Background in customer service roles can be beneficial for success in this position.
- Experience with general production work, including basic soldering and packaging, is an advantage.

Work Environment
The facility is clean, climate-controlled, and humidity-controlled at approximately 70 degrees year-round, providing a comfortable and consistent work setting. The production floor is well lit with LED lighting and skylights to create a bright and pleasant environment. You will work with friendly leads and supervisors who are willing to train as long as needed to support your success. The role is based on 2nd shift with multiple schedule options within the shift to accommodate different needs, and you will regularly use hand tools, production machinery, and computer systems as part of your daily work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.30/hr.
