Location: Anaheim, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Pay: $28.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM


About the Opportunity

A well-established manufacturing company in Anaheim is seeking a motivated and dependable Systems Administrator to join its IT team. This position is responsible for maintaining computer systems, network infrastructure, hardware, software, cybersecurity, backups, and communications equipment while providing technical support to ensure efficient day-to-day business operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
  • Monitor company network performance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
  • Assemble and configure customer hardware and software according to work orders.
  • Monitor automated backup systems and support the company's disaster recovery program.
  • Maintain antivirus and cybersecurity programs to protect company systems and data.
  • Monitor software licensing to ensure compliance and identify unauthorized software installations.
  • Recommend hardware and software upgrades or replacements to improve system performance.
  • Maintain company telephone system hardware and install voice and data cabling as needed.
  • Troubleshoot computers, software, network equipment, and peripherals.
  • Provide technical support to internal users.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of related Systems Administration, IT Support, or Network Support experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or coursework in computer technology preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems; UNIX/Linux experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer components, cable diagrams, wire types and sizes, and basic networking principles.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and software applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
  • Microsoft, CompTIA, or other relevant IT certifications are preferred.
  • Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required to perform scheduled maintenance and minimize business interruptions.


Physical Requirements

  • Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach while performing job duties.
  • Frequently use hands to operate computers, tools, and equipment.
  • Occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
  • Work is performed in an office and manufacturing environment with a moderate noise level.
