Associate Recruitment Consultant - Hiring Graduates/Early-Career Professionals for September 2026

Location: Downtown Houston

Also hiring: Miami, FL & Los Angeles, CA


The Role

This is a 360 recruitment role, which means you own the entire process. You will find new companies to work with, recruit candidates for their open roles, manage interviews, and close placements.


You will work on our Direct Hire/Executive Search team, helping companies hire specialized talent across technical industries.


This is a competitive, sales-driven role. Your day-to-day will combine cold calling, business development, recruiting, relationship building, and negotiation. Your performance directly impacts your earnings and career progression.


What You'll Do

Win New Business

  • Cold call and reach out to companies to find new business.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers.
  • Learn what companies are hiring for and help them find the right people.
  • Negotiate recruitment fees and agreements.
  • Build your own book of business and grow your client base.

Recruit Candidates

  • Find candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Interview candidates and understand what they are looking for.
  • Match strong candidates with your clients' open positions.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and manage them through the hiring process.
  • Build a network of candidates within your market.

Manage the Hiring Process

  • Manage communication between your clients and candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and gather feedback.
  • Negotiate salaries and offers.
  • Close deals and successfully place candidates.

Own Your Market

  • Become an expert in your assigned technical industry.
