Job Summary:
As an Inside Sales Associate you are responsible for generating revenue with new and existing clients, developing new business relationships with customers, reporting, and tracking of sales opportunities, achieving sales profitability targets, and assisting Account Managers with sales related functions. Activities include engaging with customers to provide proposals, learning and researching new products and market trends, and to improve customer satisfaction with all interactions. Inside Sales Associates report to the Director of Sales and Marketing, and work closely together in developing sales targets, and assisting the sales team.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Building outstanding customer relations for long term positive relationships.
    • Generating quotes for customers and processing orders to be transferred to fulfillment.
    • Expand existing customer solutions for overall company growth.
    • Build and expand customer base through pre-sales activities, client meetings, and constant follow up.
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with all customers including; customer advocacy and alignment with key decision makers.
    • Aid and assist Account Managers in client deal creation, manufacturer registrations, and sales order conversion.
    • Maintain and ensure tight alignment with internal TVS Pro teams to deliver strategic customer outcomes.

  • Operational Excellence
    • Collaborate with extended TVS Pro team to include; installers, programmers, commissioning teams, Account Managers, billing, collections, and leadership.
    • Maintain sales goals with timely updates and accurate forecasting.
    • Manage and maintain timely and accurate billing, and support the collections team on all account receivable matters.
    • Provide valuable feedback for all internal processes such as; company leadership and direction, developing new strategic relationships, advancing new company initiatives, and mentoring of new employees.
    • Attend all company, department, and individual meetings/training as assigned.
    • Responsible for providing inside sales coverage by answering phones, assisting walk-in customers, and directing clients as needed.
    • Submit manufacturer rebates, credits, and spiffs on behalf of the company for applicable invoices.
    • Follow all TVS Pro policies and procedures.

Required Skills:
  • High performing Inside Sales Associates have demonstrated abilities to understand client needs, and perform in an high-tempo environment.
  • Apply knowledge of AV equipment to clearly and concisely articulate ideas to provide tailored AV systems to meet client needs.
  • Achieve sales quota by strengthening existing customer business, leveraging new and existing vendor and company contacts to obtain new business.
  • Exhibit an ability to negotiate effectively, solve problems with critical thinking, and translate client needs into solutions.
  • Possess strong collaboration skills and an ability to work closely with members across departments and within all levels of the organization.

Education Requirements
  • This is an entry level position. No formal secondary education is required.
  • Associate's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in the ProAV industry and/or related military experience.
  • Experience in sales or working with technology such as: infrastructure, networking, conference and collaboration, professional services or managed services preferred.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
