The venue includes a broadcast studio, home to Church's Outsiders Radio on SiriusXM, with capabilities to host programming from a range of media partners. ABOUT THE ROLE

Box Office Team Member and Retail Sales Associate is a single hybrid role that focuses on interaction with guests, co-workers, and the leadership team, to drive memorable experiences, provide support for the live music venue, assist in ensuring artist hospitality, as well as to assist in driving retail sales while assisting the guest with their shopping experience. Duties include knowledge of all venue seating, ticketing platform, food and beverage served in the venue and green room, and programming calendar, knowledge of all retail items sold throughout the venue and ensuring that knowledge can help with recommending items and maximizing retail sales. They set an example of hospitality while assuming full responsibility for supporting the day-to-day retail operation, maintenance, cleanliness and organization of the shop and live music venue.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate extensive product knowledge
  • Knowledge of TixR and all ticketing procedures
  • Knowledge of the seating layout
  • Follow all Steps of Service and brand standards
  • Create a hospitable, welcoming, and memorable experience for all guests
  • Actively engage with guests in conversation to determine their needs
  • Understand the features and benefits of all products in order to make recommendations
  • Ensure par levels for all products and alert the leadership team of any low call items
  • Ensure all Federal, State and City laws and ordinances are followed with regards to the handling and responsible sale of alcoholic beverages
  • Ensure par levels for all supplies including proper containers for both food and beverage service
  • Attend trainings as mandated by the Leadership team
  • Maintain a well-groomed, professional, and polished appearance
  • Keep working knowledge of Chief's brand, history, culture, and programming
  • Navigate venue conditions, including tight spaces, dark rooms, and loud environment
  • Ensure all spaces and displays are set according to plans
  • Maintain daily inventories at both the beginning and end of shift
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace
  • Ensure that work areas are properly supplied for operational success
  • Maintain positive guest engagement and create memorable experiences
  • Take initiative, follow-through on requests until completion, and utilize a keen attention to detail
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership team

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior usher or concert experience in high-volume, fast paced venue, theater, or similar environment preferred
  • Prior retail experience in high-volume, fast paced store, restaurant or similar environment preferred
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results- oriented, restaurant/bar/venue/retail environment
  • Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills
  • Extensive knowledge of retail products and selling techniques
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a team and independently
  • Ability to take direction, and communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operational tasks are being completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to sustain loud noise volume
