The Leman Automotive Group has been family-owned and operated since 1963 and has grown to become one of the largest automotive groups in Central Illinois, with 13 dealerships and nearly 700 employees. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Automotive Detailer to join our team in Champaign, IL.

No previous detailing experience is required. We provide hands-on training and mentorship to help you succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership standards
  • Vacuum, shampoo, polish, and protect vehicle surfaces
  • Operate detailing equipment including buffers, steamers, vacuums, and pressure washers
  • Apply cleaning, protective, and restorative products to maintain vehicle appearance
  • Assist with buffing and hand polishing (training provided)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Move and park vehicles safely on dealership property
  • Assist sales and management teams as needed
  • Deliver high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Dependable attendance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Automotive enthusiasm preferred
  • Previous detailing experience is a plus but not required
