Job description

Experienced FNP/AGNP Wanted – Make a Difference in Primary Care!

Bon Secours Internists of Churchland is expanding our internal medicine team and we’re looking for an experienced FNP or AGNP to join our busy, well-established practice!

  • Located in the growing Harbour View area of Suffolk in the coastal Hampton Roads region of Virginia – close to Chesapeake, Norfolk and Virginia Beach
  • Join a collaborative team of 5 MDs and 1 NP, with strong support staff including LPNs, CMAs, patient service reps, a PharmD, and more.
  • 100% outpatient primary care – no hospital responsibility.
  • Daily patient load after ramp-up: 20-24 patients/day, with an emphasis on adult and geriatric care (60% of patients are 65+).
  • EPIC EMR with MyChart for telehealth as appropriate, DAX/AI ambient charting is available
  • Opportunity to independently manage your patient panel and make a real impact on population health outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Not an entry level position
  • Provider must have Minimum 1-2 years of outpatient primary care practice experience working independently in a continuity clinic.
  • Positive, collaborative mindset – a provider who fosters patient relationships and works well in a team.
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours call rotation to cover PTO as needed

Practice Hours & Benefits:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5 days/week)
  • Up to $5,000 relocation reimbursement (>50 miles)
  • Guaranteed base salary of $130,000 + productivity $ per wRVU, quality goals $ per wRVU and system KPI attainment bonuses paid annually
  • 32 days ATO for holidays, CME, and other out-of-office time - front loaded (not accrued) and prorated based on start date
  • Up to 8 weeks for Parental Time Off - birth or adoption
  • Annual $3,000 CME allowance
  • 403b retirement savings plus matching on first 4%
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, Rx, FSA, life insurance, company paid Short and Long term Disability
  • Wellness plan and optional benefits
  • Malpractice, Liability and Tail coverage provided
