Skilled Mine Site Operators and Laborers

Full-Time Mine Site Positions

Capital Sand Proppants in Cape Girardeau is looking for dependable, motivated, and safety-focused individuals who are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work.

We are hiring Equipment Operators, Laborers, and Haul Truck Operators to support daily mining operations through equipment operations, site maintenance, material handling, and mechanical troubleshooting. If you enjoy working with your hands, operating heavy machinery, and being a part of a hardworking team, this opportunity is for you!

Pay & Growth Opportunities

  • Starting pay: $20.00/hr (entry level)
  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • $3.00/hr night shift differential
  • $1.00/hr review-based incentive raises every 6 months for the first 24 months of employment

Qualifications: 

  • Ability to pass a physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Previous experience working at a mine site or related industry is preferred.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, lift, stand and sit for extended periods.
