Job Description

The Leasing Operations Analyst supports the day-to-day execution of the leasing operations function for a portfolio of shopping centers. This position is responsible for reviewing deal structures for accuracy and completeness, maintaining data integrity across financial and operational systems, and serving as the Leasing team's resource for the Yardi application. Working under the direction of leasing operations leadership, the Analyst ensures deals are accurate, complete, and ready for executive review, supporting reliable rent rolls, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Leasing, Finance and Asset Management teams to review deal structures for financial accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and approval requirements.

  • Guide the lease approval process, ensuring timely execution of lease agreements and accurate documentation within financial and operational systems.

  • Serve as the primary resource for the Leasing team on Yardi functionality, providing guidance and support to drive system proficiency.

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of lease data entered into Yardi and related systems to support rent rolls, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

  • Validate that all deal information, supporting documentation, and stakeholder reviews are complete and accurate prior to executive leadership review including:

    • Accurate entry of deal and budget information for reporting and analysis.

    • Completion and validation of key financial deal metrics.

    • Review and incorporation of comments from Lease Facilitation and other required stakeholders.

    • Confirmation of project scope and critical dates by Tenant Coordination.

    • Verification that all required attachments such as lease plans, lease plan close-ups, concept LOD's, comps, kiosk exhibits, and related materials are uploaded and consistent with the deal summary and LOI.

  • Maintain controls to ensure consistency with lease terms and accounting treatment including CAM, TI allowances, rent commencement, and escalations.

  • Implement and refine standard operating procedures governing lease review, approvals, and system workflows.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Property Management, and Accounting to ensure seamless lease execution and operational compliance.

  • Identify opportunities for automation, technology enhancements, and process improvements that include efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within leasing operations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing operations, lease administration, commercial real estate, or a related analytical role required.

  • Experience with Yardi or comparable real estate management systems strongly preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to interpret complex lease documents and translate terms into financial/accounting impact.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and complex data analysis.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and present to senior leadership.

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

Salary type: Exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $65,000- $85,000

Annual Bonus: 10%
