Position Summary:

The IHT Clinician at River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) provides in-home therapeutic services to children and families, including assessments, family therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination. This role involves working collaboratively with families and community supports to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring timely documentation, and delivering culturally competent care across home, school, and community settings.

We are continuously seeking qualified IHT Clinicians to join our growing team. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and we encourage interested candidates to apply as soon as possible.

We are actively hiring clinicians who are passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families in a community-based setting. Evening availability is strongly preferred to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services, as well as family and collateral consultation on assigned cases.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, including CANS, complete with interpretive summaries and recommendations for treatment based on clinical judgment
  • Provide family therapy, crisis intervention and management, risk management and safety planning, care coordination, parent skill-building/behavior management training, and support.
  • Include all pertinent family members and natural supports involved in treatment planning as appropriate.
  • Maintain a direct service productivity of 70% of available time.
  • Provide comprehensive risk management/safety planning and take appropriate actions to keep clients and others safe.
  • Provide services in clients’ homes, health care clinics, school and other community settings.
  • Demonstrate a willingness and ability to treat challenging and diverse client populations.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of community resources and how to help clients access them.
  • Ensure paperwork is clearly written and legible and addresses relevant clinical issues.
  • Write progress notes in a manner that reflects progress being made toward treatment goals and submit progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.
  • Complete a Safety plan within the first 7 days from initial contact.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Education: Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., human services, counseling, clinical psychology, or social work)
  • Licensure: License-eligible (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) and MA-CANS certified (or able to obtain upon hire)
Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and electronic health records

What We Offer:

Salary Range:

  • $35- $51 per billable hour - Fee For Service Structure

Salary ranges are based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications. Additional Compensation for advanced education for qualifying positions.

Hiring Bonus:

  • Up to $2,500 for Master Level, Unlicensed Clinicians
  • Up to $3,500 for LCSW
  • Up to $4,000 for Independently Licensed Clinicians (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, Lic. Psychologist)
