  • Assemble sheet metal parts and components according to work instructions and production requirements.
  • Operate forming equipment such as press brakes, punch presses, turrets, and other sheet metal machinery under supervision.
  • Perform bending, punching, hand forming, deburring, and sawing of metal products as directed by supervisors.
  • Set up and load machines with sheet metal materials, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Support lean manufacturing processes by following established process flows, understanding lead times, and minimizing waste.
  • Inspect parts visually and by basic measurement to verify conformity to quality standards.
  • Use hand and power tools safely to perform forming, deburring, and finishing tasks.
  • Handle and move sheet metal parts using proper and safe lifting techniques.

  • Be available to work a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and flex to overtime, including weekends, when required.
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Three to six months of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing or similar environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate press brakes, punch presses, turrets, and other sheet metal forming equipment.

  • Availability to work a Monday–Friday daytime shift with flexibility for overtime, including weekends, as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with punch press, turret press, and sheet metal fabrication processes is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of punching processes and punch tooling is a plus.
  • Experience with roll forming and brake forming of sheet metal is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience using hand and power tools in a production or fabrication setting is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry, is an asset.
