Our client is a leading global technology services organization that supports a wide range of programs for Google. These positions support Google's Patch Panel program and are based in the greater Ashburn, VA area.
Level 1 Data Center Technician
Focus: Entry-level data center support with hands-on hardware and infrastructure responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with moves, adds, and changes (MAC) for equipment and cabling.
  • Perform basic hardware installation tasks, including racking and stacking servers and network equipment.
  • Install, route, label, and document copper and fiber cabling.
  • Monitor data center environmental conditions and follow operational procedures and checklists.
  • Escalate technical issues to technicians when necessary while developing knowledge of systems and processes.

Contract Length: 3-month contract with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
