Social Media Content Creator (Entry Level)

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Content Creator to join our client's team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, staying up to date with social media trends, and helping grow our online presence. The successful candidate will assist with planning, creating, and publishing content across multiple social media platforms while collaborating with the marketing team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
  • Write captions, headlines, and hashtags that align with the brand's voice.
  • Capture and edit photos, videos, and graphics using basic design and editing tools.
  • Schedule and publish social media posts according to the content calendar.
  • Monitor comments and direct messages, responding professionally when appropriate.
  • Research social media trends, hashtags, and competitor activity.
  • Track content performance and assist with preparing monthly analytics reports.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and special events.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is a plus.
  • Internship, freelance, campus organization, or personal social media experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and current trends.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience using social media scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and engagement metrics.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new platforms and marketing strategies.
