Job Summary:

he Providence Center is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in a medical office setting by performing various clinical and administrative tasks. Fluency in English and a second language is required to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other medical information.

Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.

Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records.

Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.

Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimens appropriately.

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.

Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in healthcare delivery.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School or GED Required

Entry Level

Medical Assistant Certificate and License preferred.

Bilingual proficiency in English and another language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.).
