Job Description:
Design Technician

  • Modify/create manufacturing aid fixtures.
  • Update drawings/designs.
  • Select materials, order components.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineer for updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, layout, draw, and revise engineering drawings.
  • Use CAD, CAM, CATIA, ProEngineer, or SolidWorks.
  • Designs in Creo; revisions in Windchill.
  • Complete layout drawing details.
  • Determine scaling; insert reference planes, dimension lines, etc.
  • Prepare part/assembly specifications.
  • Contribute design modifications.

Technician Support:

  • Provide technical support in various areas.
