Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join a leading oncology treatment center in Rockville, MD. In this role, you will work under direct clinical supervision to accurately position and deliver prescribed radiation therapy doses, serving as a vital link in our patients' cancer care journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Administration: Safely and accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to treatment plans and clinical guidelines.
  • Patient Positioning & Safety: Ensure precise beam positioning and accurate dose delivery corresponding strictly to designated tumor volumes.
  • Documentation & EMR: Accurately enter and maintain treatment parameters, daily logs, and clinical records within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Custom Fabrication: Accurately fabricate custom molds and cut blocks when applicable.
  • Calculations & Planning: Perform simple monitor unit (MU) calculations and interpret computerized treatment plans correctly.
  • Clinical Team Collaboration: Assist with patient appointment scheduling and correct billing entries; assist in the clinical orientation of student therapists or newly hired staff as needed.
  • Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to all safety and radiation compliance standards.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
  • Experience: Open to entry-level and experienced candidates (0-3+ years of active practice as an RTT).
