Volt is immediately hiring for an Entry Level Mechanical Design Engineer in San Diego, CA.
As an entry level Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
  • Create and maintain the Mechanical and Systems composite product design
  • Can cover one or more of composite disciplines; electrical, hydro-mechanical, controls manufacturing, software and display, This position is aimed at the maintenance of Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical product design

This is a Full-Time Temp to Hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm plus overtime as needed. Must be able to work onsite every day.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelors degree of Science in Engineering with a 2.8 minimum GPA with 1 year or more of experience
  • The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of engineering drawings and drafting software programs, i.e. AutoCad or Cero.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in working in a manufacturing environment or specifically with gas turbine control systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Oracle or other database tools is a plus.

Pay Rate: $30.00-$32.00 Per Hour DOE
