Assistant Mechanic – Entry Level
Pine Lake Companies is seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Assistant Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of company vehicles, landscaping equipment, and small engines. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge who is interested in learning and developing their skills.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on trucks, trailers, mowers, and landscaping equipment
  • Perform oil changes, tire changes, filter replacements, and other preventative maintenance
  • Help diagnose mechanical issues under the direction of the Lead Mechanic
  • Clean, organize, and maintain the shop, tools, and work areas
  • Pick up parts and supplies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repairs
  • Follow all company safety procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or a strong interest in learning
  • Previous experience working with vehicles, small engines, or landscaping equipment is preferred but not required
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well with others
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
