Electronics Manufacturing Manager

Erdos Miller is a long-term focused engineering company seeking an electronics manufacturing manager to lead building the next generation of our products. In this role, you can expect to take ownership of product manufacturing, inventory, supply chain management, and production tests for our main product lines. You'll also be an integral part of instituting and improving processes, tools, and workflows within our manufacturing group. Within 90 days, you can expect to:
  • Gain a strong foundation of our existing manufacturing processes and products
  • Set a production schedule for each product and sub-assembly
  • Drive priorities of the manufacturing team
  • Develop a basic understanding of Measurement While Drilling and our customers

Within 12 months, you can expect to:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary, multi-supplier team in charge of manufacturing several products
  • Develop and execute an operating plan for a segment of the business, including setting production targets using a sales forecast
  • Meet or exceed production targets for the year, each quarter, each month, and each week
  • Collect, share, and use data to find supply chain bottlenecks and areas for improvement and implement many of those changes
  • Find and implement several ways to mitigate supply chain risk
  • Work with engineering to improve design for manufacturability (DFM)
  • Help engineering find and improve on design weaknesses
  • Help improve production test equipment and practices with engineering
  • Establish credibility with customers, your team, and your peers
  • Coordinate or deliver at least one training per quarter to your team
