Job Description
Quality Inspector
Responsibilities:
  • Learns and practices in-process product quality inspection requirements and techniques in compliance with standards and regulatory or customer requirements.
  • Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products.
  • Utilizes blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, drawings or inspection instructions.
  • Work as scheduled, on time and every day.

Qualifications:
  • Entry-level position requires the incumbent to learn, read, comprehend and perform a variety of inspection methods, techniques and documentation requirements per the trainer's instructions and travelers.
  • High School Degree (preferred).
  • Must be able to read, communicate and understand English per FAA requirements
  • Ability to read, understand blueprints and equipment manuals, and apply to work in-process inspection.
  • Certify visual acuity to standard, per regulations.
  • Strong math skills, attention to detail, self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
  • Use of inspection tools (preferred).
  • Hand eye coordination
  • Ability to retrieve jobs and move to next workstation
