QuadScore Insurance Services (QRS), a division of BlueSkyRisk, is a high growth company founded in 2018 which helps to provide insurance coverage to the cannabis industry.
We are currently growing our team in Sandy Springs, Georgia. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced underwriters who have pioneered leading property and casualty solutions for America's burgeoning cannabis industry.
To excel in this job, you must be comfortable working with a moderate level of ambiguity while finding solutions to new problems. This in-office entry level position will be responsible for underwriting administrative needs and helping to build both our brand and organization. Risk Management and Insurance majors preferred, but all degrees are welcome. Insurance experience is also preferred but not required for this position.
In this position you will:
  • Review applications and perform initial underwriting for cannabis accounts
  • Identifying and gathering relevant account information for new business and renewal policy activity
  • Participate with Underwriters in the renewal and new business activities that support marketing and underwriting decisions that are consistent with growth and retention goals.
  • Process endorsements, policy changes, and account renewals
  • Assess clients' current insurance placements for strengths and deficiencies
  • Work directly with specialized insurance brokers to develop business relationships
  • Scheduling inspections and monitoring for compliance with recommendations
  • Manage account

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Risk Management & Insurance degree preferred)
  • Highly self-motivated, detail oriented and able to work effectively in an early stage, high growth
  • Willingness to learn quickly in a constantly-evolving environment
  • Strong math and analytical skills with an emphasis on problem-solving
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and G-Suite products
  • Commercial property & casualty experience helpful but not required
  • Property & Casualty License Required after 2 months of employment
