Brivo is seeking a Manufacturing Hardware Technician to join our production team. This is an entry-level position with a pay rate of $16.00 - $17.00 per hour. The Manufacturing Hardware Technician will work closely with the manufacturing team to assemble, configure, and inspect computer-type equipment and security hardware to standard according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, build, and configure hardware products, sub-assemblies, and server-based security equipment according to written specifications and SOPs.
  • Assemble and disassemble computer hardware components efficiently, including CPUs, RAM, storage drives, and chipsets.
  • Install software, configure system BIOS, and perform functionality testing upon assembly completion.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose basic hardware, component, or system errors during the manufacturing process.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer specifications to eliminate defects.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors to maintain high quality and production flow.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory movement, parts staging, and general warehouse tasks as business needs require.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in hardware assembly, computer building, electronics, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with PC/server hardware components (CPUs, RAM, motherboards, storage, power supplies).
  • Ability to navigate system BIOS and perform basic software downloads or image flashing.
  • Basic experience using hand tools or small power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, wiring diagrams, and SOPs consistently.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to stand, bend, move inventory, and lift 20-50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.
