PCB Manufacturing Tester (Entry-Level)

Position Summary

Zentech. is seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level PCB Manufacturing Tester to join our Operations team. The Tester is responsible for operating and setting up electronic test equipment to verify the quality and functionality of printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies. This role supports production by identifying defects, recording test results, and ensuring products meet customer and company quality standards.

This position is ideal for candidates interested in electronics manufacturing who are eager to learn testing processes and quality assurance procedures in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate, set up, and monitor in-circuit (ICT), manufacturing defect, and functional test equipment for PCB assemblies.

  • Perform testing of printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies according to established work instructions and specifications.

  • Accurately record and maintain test data, inspection results, and production documentation.

  • Identify defective products and communicate recurring quality issues or abnormal test results to supervisors and engineering personnel.

  • Assist with basic troubleshooting, maintenance, validation, and repair of test equipment under supervision.

  • Label products and completed assemblies accurately to ensure traceability.

  • Follow all quality standards, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area.

  • Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous manufacturing or electronics experience is preferred but not required; 1–2 years of related experience is a plus.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to enter production and test data accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions.

  • Ability to identify, label, and handle products accurately.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred
  • Experience working in electronics or PCB manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment or basic electronics.

  • Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures is a plus; training will be provided.

Physical Requirements
