Job Summary:
The Entry Level Electrical Engineer works under immediate supervision and follows established procedures to perform engineering duties in researching, planning, designing, and developing products for use in the Aerospace or Electronics marketplace. This role involves working on new product designs, existing product upgrades, modernization efforts, and performing detailed analyses to ensure cost, quality, and customer requirements are met. Operating within a collaborative Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, the Electrical Engineer I applies analytical thinking and innovation to achieve customer goals and project objectives.
Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet product, process, customer, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe operating environment.
  • Support continuous improvement through Kaizen, 5S, problem-solving tools, and effective English communication in technical reports, analyses, and presentations.
  • Plan and manage engineering work to meet project schedules and budgets, using sound judgment (with mentorship) to deliver accurate, cost-effective, reliable designs.
  • Analyze design requirements, define optimal design approaches, and produce thorough design and development documentation including proposals, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Support product development, sustaining engineering, R&D, and IPT activities by performing root-cause analysis, driving corrective actions, and initiating functional, acceptance, qualification, or development testing.
  • Work independently and within multidisciplinary teams while identifying improvement opportunities and performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience
Education/Certification: BA or BS Degree in an engineering discipline. Masters or PhD preferred.

  • Requires work with small to medium size hand and power tools
  • Occasional travel to customer and outside test lab facilities for technical interchange meetings, design reviews, product testing support, and to attend technical seminars
