Dick Smith Ford is seeking an experienced Express Lube Technician to join our growing Service Department.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a technician with at least one (1) year of professional automotive maintenance experience who can step into a fast-paced dealership environment with minimal training. Ford dealership experience is preferred, but we welcome qualified technicians from independent repair facilities and other manufacturers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform oil and filter changes following Ford and Motorcraft standards
  • Rotate and balance tires
  • Complete digital multi-point vehicle inspections
  • Inspect and replace engine air filters, cabin air filters, wiper blades, and batteries
  • Check and top off all vehicle fluids
  • Perform battery and charging system testing
  • Maintain accurate repair order documentation
  • Follow all Ford and dealership safety procedures
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and professional
  • Work efficiently with Service Advisors and Certified Technicians to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional automotive lube technician experience is required
  • This is not a trainee position—we are seeking an experienced technician who can contribute immediately
  • Ford dealership experience is preferred
  • Experience performing oil changes, tire rotations, battery testing, fluid services, and multi-point inspections
  • Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality workmanship
  • Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to accurately document repair orders and inspections
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
