The Opportunity
As an Operations Consulting - Value Capture - Procurement Strategy and Strategic Sourcing - Experienced Associate, you will focus on optimizing sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings, enhance supplier collaboration, and strengthen supply chain resilience. Within our Management Consulting practice, you will work closely with clients to analyze sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and develop strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. You will also provide guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks, supplier relationship management, and digital procurement solutions.
As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and contribute to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. In this role at PwC, you will adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting unique challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Analyzing client needs to develop operational strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborating with clients to optimize sourcing and procurement processes for cost savings and supplier collaboration
- Implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and digital procurement solutions to improve procurement efficiency
- Conducting supplier evaluations and negotiations to strengthen supplier relationships and supply chain resilience
- Utilizing procurement software such as SAP Ariba and Coupa Software to streamline procurement activities
- Engaging in spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization
- Supporting the development of procurement strategies that align with client business objectives
- Monitoring contractual compliance and managing contracts to validate alignment with procurement goals
- Applying financial management skills to oversee budgetary management and forecasting within procurement projects
- Participating in project resource management to allocate resources effectively and meet project timelines

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
